Prepare for some bittersweet goodbyes as the legendary, fan-favorite show Muppet*Vision 3D takes its final bow at Hollywood Studios, alongside the vibrant Flower & Garden Festival ending at EPCOT. But don't despair, because the magic continues with the grand opening of a brand-new, immersive lounge and electrifying new summer entertainment that's sure to make a splash!

Disney World June 2025
Pride Month – June 1-30, 2025 – There are normally a lot of celebrations happening in the parks. In addition to Gay Days, there will be Pride Month snacks, merchandise, entertainment, and more.
Gay Days – June 5-8, 2025 -This is an unofficial gathering of LGBTQ+ people from around the world. It normally brings an increase in crowds at the park. Information can be found at gaydays.com
Disney After Hours– These separately ticketed events at Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT have a limited number of guests allowed to stay three hours after the park closes and let you in at 7 p.m., a couple of hours before the park closes. In addition to the shorter lines because of less people, those attending can also indulge in snacks like ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks included on the ticket. Here are the nights of the events:
EPCOT – June 19 and 26
Hollywood Studios – June 4, 11, 25
Extended Evening Hours – Eligible Deluxe hotel guests can stay at some theme parks for a few hours after the official closing. Here is the schedule:
June 2 – EPCOT – 9 to 11 p.m.
June 4– Magic Kingdom –10 p.m. to midnight
June 9 – EPCOT – 9 to 11 p.m.
June 11- Magic Kingdom – 10 p.m. to midnight
June 16 - EPCOT – 9 to 11 p.m.
June 18- Magic Kingdom – 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
June 23 - EPCOT – 9 to 11 p.m.
June 25- Magic Kingdom – 11 p.m. to 1 a.m.
June 23 - EPCOT – 9 to 11 p.m.
Magic Kingdom
Reservations for table service during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be open to select guests on June 12 and open to all guests on June 16.
The Astro Orbiter – Closed for refurbishment – The Tomorrowland attraction is closed with a planned reopening in the summer of 2025.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad – Closed for refurbishment – The Adventureland attraction is closed for a long refurbishment. The ride will reopen sometime in 2026.
Hall of Presidents – Closed for refurbishment – The attraction is closed for changes. No reopening date has been announced.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin – Closing for refurbishment – The attraction will close in August 2025 for a lengthy refurbishment. When it reopens in 2026, it will feature a new show scene, updated ride vehicles, and gameplay enhancements.
Hollywood Studios
Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo—Closing Permanently—Muppet*Vision 3D’s last day of operation is June 7. The closure will allow the area to be converted to Monsters Inc. land.
Disney Junior and Play and Dance - Closed - This attraction is cloed through the Fall as part of te special summer celebrations.
EPCOT
GEO-82 - Opening - The GEO-82 adults-only lounge at Spaceship Earth opens on June 4.
Phineas and Ferb Return - The characters will be making their Walt Disney World return near the entrance for meet and greets.
Test Track – Closed for an extended refurbishment – Test Track closed on June 16, 2024 for an extensive reimagining. It is expected to reopen in summer 2025.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival — March 5 to June 2, 2025 – The festival features dozens of Disney character topiaries, Outdoor Kitchens and performances during the Garden Rocks Concert Series. Here is a look at the concert lineup for the last days of the festival:

Disney Springs
Starbucks at Disney Springs West Side - Closed for refurbishment - Expected to reopen somtime in June
Disney Springs! Flavors of Florida - June 27 - The highly anticipated Disney Springs Flavors of Florida is making its grand return bringing with it an abundance of culinary creations crafted from ingredients grown and harvested right here in the Sunshine State. Now in its sixth year, this annual celebration promises an even more extensive and delicious experience for guests.
Water Parks
Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are open for the summer.
Disney Resorts
Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Room refurbishment work will take place from September 2024 to September 2025.
Beach Club Resort – Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed and undergo routine maintenance from January 2025 to June 2025. During this time, Guests are welcome to swim at the Tidal, Admiral and Dunes Cove leisure pools.
BoardWalk Inn and Villas – Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are being refurbished with new offerings; plus, updates to Guest rooms, lobby and more. While most Resort hotel amenities will remain available, you may be able to see and hear construction during daytime hours. Additionally, please allow for additional travel time. In addition, from January 2025 through May 2025, the merchandise locations along Disney’s BoardWalk will be refurbished in phases. Two merchandise locations will remain available for Guests throughout the refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see and hear construction activity in the area.
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – The resort will undergo refurbishment from mid-May 2025 to September 2025. All resort amenities will remain available but guests may notice construction work during the day.
Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Refurbishment of the room at Magnolia Bend will take place from early April 2025 through the end of January 2026. Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort – Guest rooms will go through refurbishment from late March 2025 to mid-February 2026. All resort amenities will remain available but guests may see construction during the day.
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin - Shula's Steak House is closing after 30 years in business. Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina will open in Shula's location sometime in late summer.
